Dear Reader,
Perhaps you’re a member of The List and visit this site often (if so, thank you!), or maybe you’re new here and curious about everything that the Slow Luxe Society (SLS) has to offer (in which case – welcome ?).
Either way, whenever you view content on this site there’s a chance you’ll come across products, and links to products, that are tagged with affiliate link tracking (affiliate links).
In short, these links allow the SLS to receive compensation (at the cost of the retailer) for recommending products to you.
The links track clicks and purchases from visitors and members such as yourself, and associate the purchase (and subsequent compensation) with the SLS. None of your personal information is tracked, only what you buy and the fact that you came via this website.
You will never be charged extra for following an affiliate link; in fact, retailers often provide discount codes for their affiliates to distribute, so it may be that you save money by doing so. That said, you have absolutely no obligation to buy anything recommended on this site, nor to buy via any affiliate link you see here.
Products and services are only recommended if they meet the high standards of our community, not just on quality, but also ethics and sustainability. We do our best to try them before providing a link to them. In some instances this isn’t possible and you’ll be made aware of that.
Neither I, Erin, nor the SLS generally, have any direct affiliation with any product or service on this site. If this changes it will be stated clearly.
If you’re still unsure about affiliate links and you have a question, please don’t hesitate to email me at erin@slowluxesociety.com.
